Terms of use

zChess provides chess play, puzzles, analysis, communities and competitions. You must use your own account, follow applicable laws and avoid harassment, automation that disrupts the service, account sharing and manipulation of ratings or results.

Features may change as the service improves. Availability can be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages or abuse prevention. zChess advice and ratings are educational and competitive estimates, not professional advice or guaranteed outcomes.

Privacy

When you sign in, zChess stores your verified email, player ID and display name. It also stores your profile, ratings, games, move timing, puzzle progress, tournament and club membership, support requests, reports, appeals and subscription status in its hosted database.

One-time login codes expire quickly and are stored only as protected hashes. Payment card details are handled by Razorpay and are not stored by zChess. Rewarded ads, when enabled, are served by Google Ad Manager and may process device, consent and advertising data under Google's policies. zChess uses gameplay telemetry for clocks, ratings, abuse prevention and service reliability.

You may request correction or deletion through the zChess Support Center. Legal, fraud-prevention and financial records may be retained where required.

Subscriptions and refunds

Plus is ₹49 per month and Pro is ₹199 per month when secure billing is enabled. Yearly billing is 25% lower than twelve monthly payments: ₹441 per year for Plus and ₹1,791 per year for Pro. The checkout states the exact plan, price and billing schedule before authorization. Access begins only after server verification and continues through the paid period.

You can stop future renewal from the Premium membership panel. Cancellation does not normally shorten an already paid period, and the panel shows the access end date. Duplicate charges, failed activation or unauthorized payments should be reported promptly through Support with the provider payment reference. Refund eligibility depends on applicable law, provider rules and whether premium benefits were materially used. No payment is collected while the selected secure billing plan is shown as disconnected.

Rewarded ads and consent

A rewarded ad is optional. A single review unlock is granted only after the advertising provider confirms the reward. Closing an ad early does not unlock the review. Where consent is legally required, ads must remain disabled until the configured consent platform records a valid choice.

Fair-play enforcement

Rated moves are validated by the server and authoritative clock timings are recorded. Reports are evidence, not automatic proof. Confirmed cheating can result in game forfeiture, rating correction, suspension or permanent account-ID ban from online play.

Permanent decisions require an auditable moderation action. Players can submit an appeal from the Fair Play Center; appeals are reviewed separately from the original report.

Support

The zChess Support Center accepts account, billing, gameplay, fair-play and privacy requests. Requests and replies are visible only to the signed-in player and authorized support reviewers. Never submit card numbers, passwords or other account secrets.
